Mercury increases liquid cash, share certificates and documents; Jupiter rules over all sorts of properties i. e. buildings, jewellery, jewels, cash; Venus forjewels, vehicles, furnitures, luxuries etc. Saturn governs landed property, mines, quaries and antiques; Mars gives land and buildings; the Sun is for authority, power, name and fame; the Moon for liquid cash and wet lands.

The Moon becomes too weak and debilitated when posited in the six and eighth houses and is afflicted by malefics.Thus, the chief controllers for finance and fortune are the moon and Jupiter. The nature of Mars, Saturn or Rahu is to put obstructions, obstacles and hindrances in earning money, to delay and even to deny it. They always try to put obstructions and hindrances in acquiring landed property, if heavily afflicted and if posited in evil places like 8th or 12th houses in horoscope. Mars or Rahu if found in 2, 8, 9 house in a birth chart, causes havoc. Saturn in 2, 4, 8.12 house is a very bad sign for earning money. Mars only gives good results if posited in 10th house and the sun also gives good results if posited in 10th house.
Venus is the planet of all pleasures. A man may earn lots of money but he could not enjoy it due to illness or heavily afflicted Venus. For enjoyment of earthy pleasures beneficial rays of Venus are essential. Venus becomes too weak and debilitated when posited in 6,8,12 houses in a horoscope. So earning money and enjoying the same way may not be possible jointly. The 12th house represents enjoyment of all pleasures. For enjoyment of earthy pleasures, the 12th house must be free from any affliction. It is better to have no planets in this house. One becomes rich and wealthy if at least one planet is found exalted in a birth chart.Malefics in third or sixth house and benefic in angles or trines are good for growing rich and wealthy.
