Consideration of Gandmoola Nakshatras

Nakshatras are very important in Vedic astrology. Nakshatras are the groups of some stars which are placed in a stable position in space. Each planet passes through Nakshatras during its movement in its orbit. Planets are nine and Nakshatras are 27. So each planet has the lordship of three Nakshatras.

Vimshottari Dasha is also based on Nakshatras in the horoscope. Mahadasha will begin from the Nakshatra present in the birth-chart at the birth-time. In 27 Nakshatras, 6 Nakshatras are known as Gandmoola Nakshatras, which are Ashwini, Magha, Moola, Ashlesha, Jyeshtha and Revathi. The first three Nakshatras are of Ketu and the other three are of Mercury.

Nakshatras in Gandmoola Nakshatra are aggressive in nature. These Nakshatras create some problems in the first phase of life, but they give auspicious results in the middle phase of life. At the time of prediction, we should consider that the movement of planet in the sign gives overall results, but when any planet moves in a Nakshatra then it will give precise results to the native. Each Nakshatra is divided into four parts, which are known Nakshatra quarters.
